Larysa Martyniuk is a visual artist residing in Colorado who works in acrylic, watercolor, and mixed media. Nature is her primary form of inspiration, and her work is interpreted/imagined realism. Unlike a photograph, her work is derived more from the nuances, feelings, and interpretations of the experience. Larysa has been a studio artist and member at the Business of Art Center in Manitou Springs since 2008. She has won several jurors choice awards in Members Gallery exhibitions and has canvases that have been in various national exhibits, including, but not limited to, the Stamford Museum in Connecticut, the Woodstock Gallery in New York, and the Pikes Peak Center here in Colorado Springs. Larysa has also had exhibits in galleries throughout the U.S., including the Peryn Gallery in Seattle, Gallery-A in New Mexico, Gallerie La Fontene in Boston, and the Hayden Gallery in Colorado.
